This table provides an overview of how the LMS and the service we provide meets these requirements.

Individual rights How we meet this requirement

Right to be informed

To access the resources on this site you need to have an account on the system. This requires us to hold some very limited information about you.

The information we hold is limited to a maximum of your name, personal or business address, date of birth and email address.

Once you are logged into the system you can visit your profile to see personal data is stored on the system.

In addition, we will hold information about your learning activities on the site.

Right to access their personal data

You can access the site 24/7 and see what data is held in your profile. You can amend it if necessary.

Right to rectification

As above. You may log into the site and amend your personal data at any time.

Right to data erasure

You have the right to request that data about yourself be erased from the system.

You cannot delete your account yourself. You must request this from the Sage Qualifications team who will do it for you.

Note that if you request that your account be deleted you will no longer be able to log into the system or obtain records of your activity. Information about your activity on the site will be anonymised so it cannot be traced back to you.

You will not be able to obtain copies of any certificates from the site, and we will not be in a position to confirm that you have taken any courses with us.

Restriction on processing data

Personal data is not processed by Sage Qualification or passed on to third parties to produce (for example) mailing lists.

Activity data will be retained in the LMS so we can monitor overall activity on the site.

The LMS does not export data to any other sites.

Right to data portability

We will not export data about you to a 3rd party site.

Data may be used for internal management processes such as quality monitoring.

Right to object

You can ask us to delete your account by emailing the support line. Please note that deleting your account means that we will not be able to provide you with copies of certificates should they ever be required.

Rights related to automated decision making including profiling

No automated decision-making processes use the data stored in Moodle except those relating to awarding of certificates if assessments are completed successfully.
